Lesson 3 - Backend - Mailing List

Hi everyone.

I have a question about a segment of lesson 3.

I first want to apologize for dragging you back to a previous lesson but because of a family illness I do not have the luxury of attending the Saturday morning classes where I would have asked the question at that point. In order for me to stay with the lessons I have to backup my wakeup hours and study from 2am - 5am. I don't say that to get sympathy :) I only want you to know I am not taking advantage of your time due to my laziness.

That said here is my questions:

Sydney said that after a purchase you send them an email 1. Thanking them 2. Give something free (maybe information) 3. Free subscription to a newsletter and 4. an unsubscrible link.

1.Does eBay send me a confirmation of the sale and it is from that email from eBay that I get the customer on my list and then I email them?

2. Do I manually add them to a mailing list or is there a program I use?

3. Is the opt-in page where they are downloading the "free information" I am giving them for purchasing the product?

4. If they do not opt-in for my newsletter or free information do I still have the oportunity to market to them?

I guess I need sort of a step by step visual answer of this. As you can see I am confused.:)

Any explanation would be appreciated.

Instead of explaining it step-by-step here, I will go over it in class on Saturday. I might create a diagram if I can make all my image programs work correctly. I haven't really covered it, except in a general way, since we haven't really gotten to that section of the class yet (Wealth Plan, at end).
