I need help...
In one of the classes Syndney mentioned something about a telephone line that is answer through your computer. I cannot locate in the class material the name of the telephone company.
Is anyone using this service?

I believe she mentioned 'evoice'. Does anyone know of any others? If so, please share ;) I haven't signed up yet. I am trying to find others so I can compare.

Hi, I checked out evoice today. It is priced at $4.95 a month, however, when I was about to order, I found that it is $4.95 monthly for 20 minutes of time, and that it is .10 a minute after that, so I declined to order it. Even though it was for voicemail only, I still believe I will get more than 20 minutes of monthly messages and that there are likely other plans with unlimited service for not much more. Earlier in the forum (old posting from previous class) someone had mentioned MaxEMail, but I haven't really checked it out. I currently have faxes set up to come in through MyFax, and that is $10 monthly, but does not offer voicemail, so I may end up switching things around in a few days.

I found the following phone service which receives fax, voicemail, and also can follow to a phone you can answer. I haven't tried out all the features, but it is as low as $2 month, and $2 set up for toll-free number, billed in 6 second increments, 6.9 cents/minute. I signed up to be an affiliate instantly as well, so if you are interested ... :-)

I am not sure the affiliate page gets you to all the information to make a decision so the main site is also below. If you decide to use this, you could use the affiliate link above if you wish.
A related fax service if you need to send faxes is at http://www.faxaway.com I have not reviewed all details on this.

Yes, it is evoice I mentioned and we use it for several companies. Pamela mentions that it's only for 20 minutes/month, which I didn't know. Either we have an earlier plan that included more minutes or we don't use that many each month. We only have it for our 'extra' companies and barely use it, so it might not be suitable for those of you using it more often. I'll ask Jeremy about this since he is the one who handles this for us. Perhaps he has a better idea.
