I've got 15-16 pen names in iSnare and I don't think it's going to let me add any more. I don't think I want to upgrade to a Platinum account with them (and that would only allow 30 pen names anyway.) I guess I'm just going to open multiple iSnare accounts unless there are other options.
What's everyone else doing?
Thanks,
Graydon

Hi Graydon. I'm not at your level of sites & pen names yet, but there are a couple of so-so work arounds if you keep an updated list of your pen names and their associated web sites. If you are not actively using all 15 of your pen names, you can temporarily delete one or more to free up pen name space. I tried it with mine and found that:
I was able to delete one without that pen name's articles disappearing, and
I was able to delete it and add it back without error or apparent penalty
The risk in doing this is that someone could later lay claim to your pen name if it's available once you temporarily delete it. (To verify, I tried to add "John Smith" as one of my pen names and was informed the name is already taken.)
Alternatively, you could begin having your 15 pen names owning multiple sites so that eventually if you have, say, 90 sites, each pen name would own six.
Concerning iSnare's premium membership, what you didn't mention is that it costs $60/month. Yikes! Forget that.
The pen name limit is a bummer!
Sydney, have you found a way around this limit for your pen names other than creating multiple iSnare accounts?

The only answer I've found is to delete pen names when I'm finished with them and this has worked fine for me. I only use iSnare when I'm promoting a site. Once it's established, I use Dripping Power for updates and so I don't need that particular pen name anymore so I get rid of it and substitute a different one.
Sydney,
Just to clarify that point from your post above: you no longer use ezinearticles and goarticles? What caused this change? Thanks a lot.

Josh

I think Sydney is saying that the only time she uses iSnare is when she's promoting a site. She's still using Ezinearticles and GoArticles. On the last town meeting call, she also mentioned that some people are beginning to use Buzzle.com.
Graydon,
Thanks for the clarification; I thought that would have been a pretty major announcement.

Josh

Speaking of pen names, I think the burning question of the day is:
Just what exactly is our instructor's real name? Is it Sydney Johnston, or is that simply her master pen name? ;)

OK, OK ... I've decided to finally share my REAL name. It's Angelina Jolie.

Josh: Graydon is exactly right - I only use iSnare when I'm promoting a site. Once it's established, I usually post articles only on the site itself, although I occasionally use ezinearticles, etc.

I use iSnare on 1 site until it reaches $5 per day. Takes around 3 months on average to get some decent traffic from the search engines though.
P.S. I didn't know the "real" Sydney is that hot. LOL...
