Here are the link building techniques that we learn from the Wealth Plan:

1. Article Submission
2. Directory Submission

Since I have bought SEO Elite, I have begin to learn so many things about SEO.
By analyzing my competitor, I notice a lot of them actually exchange links from PR2-4 related sites. I thought reciprocal linking is dead?

If we have the time & money to put in the extra effort, what other link building techniques that we can use to get to the 1st page of Google? Please list down legal, white-hat, sustainable techniques only. :)

I'm also interested to learn more about this. Does reciprocal linking still have any value (though probably diminished)? How about 3-way links?

Yes, reciprocal linking is practically worthless now. Back in the day it was awesome, but now it's basically dead.

When looking at a competitor's backlinks thru a software program like SEO Elite, sure, you may see a ton of links that are reciprocal links......HOWEVER, those may have been links that they've had for a long time; links that were already there and that they just haven't taken the time out to drop from their site.

That particular site may not be necessarily ranking high because of all of his/her reciprocal linking he/she has going on. It could well be the handful of very high quality / authoritative / one-way links they've got that's giving them the ranking (again, NOT the hundreds of reciprocal links).

Jonathan,

Great reply!
I believe ONE-WAY link from authority sites is the best link of all.
The question is... How to get them?

Yes reciprocal linking is a bad idea.
