Just wondering if anyone has tried using misspelled keywords as anchor text in the ezinearticles resource box - does ezarticles allow it?

I looked it up for you on EzineArticles's "Editorial Guidelines For Submitting To EzineArticles.com" (http://www.ezinearticles.com/editorial-guidelines.html).
This is the closest thing I found related to your question:
"MUST HAVE proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. While we know there is a variation in what is considered "proper English," we ask that you at least be consistent within your article. Your article must also be proofed and double checked for accuracy.....".
However, interpret that as you wish. :D

Thanks, Jonathan. I am aware of their guidelines about spelling in the article itself. What I was wondering about is whether some adventurous marketers have actually tried to push the envelope by including the misspelled keywords in the resource box, and what reaction they got from ezinearticles.

Hi everyone,
I think I'll make this a more general question.
Do you ever try to rank for misspelled keywords, especially if they are the really "juicy" ones? If so, how do you go about promoting it? The biggest obstacle I can see is using the misspelling in the anchor text on someone else's website - e.g. article directories - since they might object to the wrong spelling.
For example, one keyword I found has 130 searches per day, 23,000 competing pages and average payout of $5.21 per click. It would be a pity to just drop this and other similar ones because they are misspelled.
Thanks,
Willie
