I have been using Xenu as recommended by Sydney to make sure that all links in my site are good. Recently I have also started using it to check that the links I put in my resource box are good.

I used to do a final check of the links while doing a "Preview" in ezarticles, by actually clicking on them. Now before I login to ezarticles, I make a copy of the article (which has the resource box too), rename it as ".html", then use Xenu to crawl this file (which is on my PC). I found that this process works faster for me.

Willie,

Just a caution though. I had a few articles that the anchor text is correct but it is pointing to another page. Somehow I forgotten to change the URL in the anchor text.
Just my 2 cent.

I'm glad to know that Xenu is helpful, Willie. I think it's very odd that checking links if SO important - yet there is very little software out there to do this critical task. Xenu is pretty primitive, but still the best thing I've found. If anyone ever runs up against anything better, please let us know.
