Sydney,
I'm planning to get a full time writer that you suggested.
-How much is the rate per week?
-How many 500+ words article can the writer produce in a week?
-Can they do article submission as well?
-Where can I check their sample articles?
Cheers!

How much is the rate per week?
The price is $675/month. I have helped people find partners to cut that price down if anyone is interested.
-How many 500+ words article can the writer produce in a week?
Today (July 16) is the first day for our new writer so I can't answer that question since I haven't even met her yet. However, I am making it clear from the get-go that this is about QUANTITY, not Shakespearean prose. The thing about having a full time employee (or a half time one, if sharing) is that we're in charge, not them. If I don't get what I want, I will find another agent and I'm making it crystal clear to our new employeethat she is on probation. Our first employee, Gwen, was hired as a link person but she's evolved into all kinds of duties and has become invaluable to us. Hopefully, this writer will be the same. So far, I have three duties for her:
1. Original articles
2. Rewriting private label content
3. Blog entries for links
We're starting this first day with rewriting articles since that's the easiest. So we'll see what happens and I will keep you informed.
-Can they do article submission as well?
They surely can. All you need to do is tell them what you want them to do.
-Where can I check their sample articles?
All writers take a writing test so I assume that the company can give you a sample. I can tell you that they're fairly rigorous. When she found out that we wanted to hire a writer, our current employee wanted us to hire her best friend who applied to the company just so that she could work with us. However, their manager told me that the girl wasn't a very good writer and that I would likely be disappointed if I hired her to write. I truly appreciated that, especially since they didn't have another writer at the time so it cost them an employee at the moment.

Unfortunately, they just raised the rates for writers. They went from $625 ==> $675 per month. The owner lives in the US and he told me that the dollar was gotten so weak that they weren't making a profit any longer. I can certainly understand that, but I hate it - and so does Danny, the owner. Boooooooooooooooooo ...

Sydney,
If it's $675 p/month.
I'm looking at a minimum of 10 x 500 words article p/day including submissions.
If the writer can crack it up to 15-20 p/day, it will be excellent!
Looking forward to hire 1 full time writer in the month of August.
Can you guide me through the process Sydney?
Cheers!
